Step-up in Security at York Auction Centre

York Auction Centre in Murton has taken a fresh approach to security and enlisted on the experience and knowledge of local firm Eboracum®.

In a move to enhance their current measures, the centre upgrades its protection against theft, damage and trespass.

Eboracum UK Ltd have upgraded the on-site presence with a team of experienced SIA Licensed security operatives, working around the clock with remote support from a dedicated management team.

The centre understand and appreciate that guarding is not just about a person sat in a gate house, or stood at a specific location for hours. It is also about monitoring, keeping those team members alert and vigilant and being able to get support to them immediately.

Being a local firm, Eboracum can do just that. This comes in the form of a mobile response vehicle that will react to any colleague requesting help and support.

It gives me great pleasure to know that a long-standing york business has put trust and faith into us to provide them with a bespoke security package. We have already seen some real positive results to demonstrate how small changes in security can make a big difference.

The high visibility guard presence, ability to take immediate action, remote support and external CCTV & alarm monitoring creates a force to be reckoned with.

The Eboracum team have already detected and then deterred a team of would-be thieves. They were spotted within seconds and decided against entering further after realising that their chances of being caught was high.

Aside of all of this, the team also deliver a customer service role to support and reassure the lorry park guests who frequent the site and use the facilities.

Portakabin, Europes go-to pioneer of modular construction has chosen Eboracum as their manned Securty provider at their head office in York.

This contract partnership exhibits Portakabin’s approach to supporting local, high quality businesses by including them in their supply chain.

Michael has been part of the Vangarde team for about a year now. Michael has grown in confidence in dealing with customers which is an integral and core function of his role. Michael is punctual, positive and willing member of the team, he is always keen to learn now elements of the role and that of the shopping park. His appearance, work ethic and standards of work are very high. In recent weeks in order to develop his personal skills he has just completed his SIA training. He has a positive outlook on life, always cheerful and always with a grin on his face. His on site colleagues are positive about him and all thoroughly enjoy working with him.
